  • The Innovation Lab is an opportunity for individuals and organizations working on projects at the intersection of climate and mental health to receive feedback and connect with the mental health and climate change network across Canada.

  • The Innovation Lab’s mandate is to:

    1. Review and provide feedback to support initiatives relating to mental health and climate change – this feedback may range from input on research methods, program design, implementation opportunities, and more.

    2. Where possible, facilitate linkage between relevant resources, collaborators, and funding opportunities.

    3. Continue to build a mental health and climate change network across Canada, including creating a repository of initiatives and ensuring that regional considerations are being addressed.

  • Anyone who is working on an initiative that works to address the mental health impacts of climate change is welcome to participate! We invite applications from both academic and non-academic presenters who would like feedback related to projects focused on developing, evaluating, implementing or spreading adaptation strategies to address the mental health consequences of climate change. Projects at any stage of development are welcome. Please contact team@mhcca.ca if you have any questions.

  • After expressing interest through the following form, you will be notified when the Innovation Lab starts offering feedback sessions in 2025. If selected, the Innovation Lab itself entails the opportunity to share a short presentation on your project to a panel of experts who will listen, review, and share feedback and opportunities that relate to your pitch.
